Martin N. Martinov, PhD
Founder and Chief Scientist
Dr. Martinov has developed and refined the core proprietary technology of Gradient Biomodeling. He has also provided consulting and molecular modeling services to various clients, from big corporations (Eastman Kodak) to smaller companies (Elan Pharmaceuticals, Vitae Pharmaceuticals) to multiple biotech start-ups, and implemented IT solutions in pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and imaging. He holds an MS in Biotechnology from University of Sofia, a PhD in Molecular Biophysics from Florida State University, and has done post-doctoral research at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Vice President, IT
Mr. Goshev is an IT professional with extensive experience in development of Computer Graphics and Scientific Calculations software, IT operations and IT outsourcing. He holds B.Sc. in Mathematics and M.Sc. in Computer Science from University of Sofia.
Computational Operations and Project Management
Ms. Martinova has extensive diverse in scientific computing, with emphasis on molecular modeling applications. At Gradient Biomodeling, she is responsible for modeling data processing, computational screening, compound prioritization, and overall project management. She holds a M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Sofia Technical University, and M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic University.

Dr. Cordes has more than 40 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a researcher, executive and advisor: Vice-President for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in the Merck Research Laboratories; President of R&D and corporate Vice-President at Sterling Winthrop; Chairman of the Board at Vitae Pharmaceuticals. He has served on the Board of Directors at Millennium Pharmaceuticals and currently is a Director at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. He also has experience in the academic world at Indiana University and the University of Michigan, and has served on several advisory committees to academic institutions and governmental agencies. Dr. Cordes was educated at Caltech (BS in Chemistry) and Brandeis University (PhD in Biochemistry).
